I am grateful to have grown up in Petaluma, a beautiful, multifaceted town with unparalleled small-town character that I’ve worked to preserve. 

I’m a 5th generation farmer so protecting our open spaces and local food security is very important to me. 

I believe in building bridges within our community. It’s important to me to hear all sides of issues so our community has a voice, and the direction that we move in is something everyone can be proud of. 

As a small business owner myself, support for small, local, family owned businesses is top of mind. Petaluma deserves to be thriving and supported in a bigger way, and I want to see revitalization in our downtown. 

I believe in transparency and accountability, fiscal responsibility, and strong leadership. 

I believe in diverse and respectful dialogue, and giving citizens a direct voice in community planning. I’ll work to build public trust. 

I will protect the things the voters voted for – roads, Urban Growth Boundary, responsible growth, and keeping things like Measure J away. I will also protect essential resources like water. 

Our community deserves connectedness and unity. I will work hard for Petaluma.

I want a community we can all be proud of: one where everyone has access to fresh, local food and the chance to live healthy, fulfilling lives, with a lifestyle we can afford, and local small businesses that are thriving.

As Petaluma Mayor, I will connect those who grow our food with those who eat it, protect local food sovereignty, and support our local agriculture that honors our environment and cultural heritage.

Key priorities for me include encouraging public participation, uniting our community, nurturing small-businesses that strengthen our communities. I’ll work to preserving our open space, urban growth boundaries, and local food systems.

My background as a professional motorcycle racer has taught me to make critical decisions under pressure with calm focus and integrity. I’ve got a strong history of following through on my contracts and working alongside large businesses building marketing plans, contracts, and building consensus.

During our wildfires, I founded an animal rescue organization, partnering with the Sheriff’s Department and firefighters to evacuate tens of thousands of animals since the Tubbs Fire. This reinforced my commitment to protect the voiceless – animals, vulnerable residents, and those without power.
